Introducing Views
At OpenCVE, we’re always looking for ways to make vulnerability monitoring more efficient. After launching Advanced Search, which allows you to build powerful queries like vendor:microsoft AND (cvss31>=9 OR cvss40>=9)
or userTag:toCheck AND description:python
, we’re excited to introduce a new feature that takes things a step further: the Views!

What Are Views?
Views let you save and reuse your search queries, making it easier to access the CVE results that matter most to you. Instead of typing the same query repeatedly, you can now store it as a view and retrieve it instantly whenever needed.
This feature is perfect for teams tracking specific vulnerabilities or individuals who frequently run the same queries. With Views, you can organize your searches, streamline your workflow, and focus on analyzing results instead of re-entering filters:
- Save Time – No need to retype complex queries every time you search.
- Organize Your Workflows – Keep your most important queries structured and easily accessible.
- Collaboration Made Easy – Share relevant queries with your team via public views.

There are two types of Views:
- Public Views – Shared across your organization, allowing anyone to use and modify them.
- Private Views – Only accessible and editable by you.
Future improvements
We already have ideas for making Views even better! Future improvements could include displaying views directly on the dashboard and integrating them into the notification system, so you can be alerted when new CVEs match your saved searches.
